The Passover Table is all about a festive meal & each item on the table symbolizes the spirit of the Jewish Passover Holiday.
My table is made up from some special pieces I use every year & some new items for an updated new look. I always use: Sedar Plate, Vase & Elijah’s wine goblet are all Lenox & were special gifts. The new items are: Threshold Scalloped Dinnerware Set from Target, Brushed Gold Napkin Rings from BedBathandBeyond, The Lenox Tablecloth, Table Runner Linen Napkins from Homegoods.
The Seder Table starts with a floral centerpiece & lit candles. The large platter is called the Seder Plate & every item on it has special meaning.
In the center of the table is The Cup of Elijah, which is a large wine goblet that is filled with wine all throughout the evening. Each participant also gets a wine glass & Haggadah book. Some items can vary but can also include: a bowl of salt water, a plate of scallions, a plate of hard boiled eggs, a bowl of water for hand washing & a small pillow on each chair.
The Passover Meal is full of traditional foods. See my recipes for Matzah Ball Soup & a Best Brisket Recipe too!
Happy & Healthy Passover (Happy Pesach)!
