This is a $2 craft! We changed things up a little from our Rose Petal Initial “K” post where we used foam core for the backing. This time we are using a heart shape with a ribbon hanger -also found at the Dollar Store.
Supplies Needed:
- Foam Core Board
- Hot Glue – Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Pencil
- Artificial Rose Petals – 2 good online shopping choices are Dollar Tree & Amazon
Start by gluing the edge with petals. Short line of the hot glue for each 2-3 petals so it does not dry before attaching the petals.
Then take a petal twist on a pencil, eraser side, dab of hot glue on the petal & place it on your heart. The spacing can be as you chose for fullness. We are trying to keep the petals close together for a fuller fluffy look.
Beautiful on your wall, door, leaning on a mantle or entry table as above. Also beautiful for a wedding, shower or party decorations.
Come see our Rose Petal Initial being used in 2 great party posts: Surprise Engagement Celebration! & Cinderella Birthday Party.
