What happened?? Life and work has been so busy, we haven’t had time to realize that Fall started. Sounds familiar? Rush to put away our Summer decor and bring out the Fall. But as we started getting out our Fall decor bins, our beautiful wreath broke!
First, some quick internet browsing to see some options. We did love some at Pottery Barn and Kirlands but we just couldn’t justify spending $40 – $100+ at this time. So we made a quick trip to our local Michael’s craft store for plain wispy grapevine wreath. With a 50% coupon via the app, the wreath was $14.99. No need to buy items to decorate with when we can use what was on the broken wreath.
First, using a hot glue gun, we glued the pumpkins to the inside circle of the wispy grapevine wreath. We had a bag of mini pinecones, from last year, that was for jar fillers. Thought they would be a nice touch to glue a few throughout the vines. The glue gun glue dries super fast so the wreath can be hung up right after it’s created. If you rather not use a glue gun, regular craft glue is totally fine. Just keep in mind it should thoroughly dry before hanging.
Love how the grapevine wreath comes with the metal support great for hanging. We love to use burlap ribbon and floral craft wire to create a bow for hanging.
Yeah, FrugElegance just the way we like it!
