Love is in the Air.. we would like to share our engagement  stories.

Carol: Mine is more simple, a nice dinner out in San Francisco with nice views, a proposal and a ring in the bottom of my champagne glass.

It seems like 30 years of marriage has passed so fast and raising our four daughters. Every love story is beautiful, but mine is my favorite.

Randi: It was the night before my birthday, we were supposed to go out for a nice dinner. There was a bad storm so we decided to stay closer to home & go to a local pub we liked. We were getting ready to go when I hear Todd cussing & sounding all annoyed & I hear “Randi, can you come here?” I was also trying to get ready to go but went towards the bathroom to where he was on the floor. He said he lost a contact lens & asked if I could help him look. I was a little annoyed… a tiny bathroom, how was I going to help? I walked closer & with one hand he slid the shower door that was behind the other & it had a computer made sign that said “Will you marry me Randy” -yes Randy not Randi. You see, computers were just starting for us in those old days. It was really a big deal to have something made like that. The person who made it typed my name wrong. I had a good laugh about the name spelling but it didn’t take anything away from how happy I was that very moment… In the BATHROOM! With his other hand he opened the box to show the most beautiful ring I ever saw. It was one of the happiest nights of my life!

On a side note I would like to say how life is full of oops & whoops & imperfections. But when it comes to expressing your love for your special someone, always remember to say “I LOVE YOU” because there is nothing better than those very perfect words!
