GOLD GLITTERED LOVE LETTERS
These LOVE Letters are quite popular on Pinterest & Etsy & we wanted to see if we could make them. Make them for less & look as good if not better. And this is how we did it:
Supplies Needed:
- Cardboard Letters -purchased at our local craft store for $2.99 each
- Gold Spray Paint- Nothing fancy needed, we used a generic brand from our local hardware store, $5.99 (you won’t use the whole)
- Gold Glitter
- Mod Podge Glue & a sponge brush
- 1 Can of clear, high gloss sealer (won’t use whole can), $6.99 at our local craft store but used a 50% off coupon.
Instructions:
- Spray paint the cardboard letters gold with a light spray & let dry.
- Paint a coat of Mod Podge Glue over the front one letter & sprinkle with gold glitter thoroughly. Do one letter at a time so glue does not start to dry while working on another letter.
- Letters should thoroughly dry & then spray with the high gloss sealer. This keeps the glitter secured on the letters.
These letters were so easy to make & look beautiful. That’s the way we like it! Perfect for parties, wedding decor & of course holiday decor. We LOVE the way the letters came out & look forward to using this easy DIY for future projects.
