Decorating with pinecones & branches & other items available right in our own backyards can be a real plus for our budget. And with the items we are using, for a rustic & natural front porch area, it all comes together. This is how we did it…
Cutting a few branches off the tree. And then cutting the branch into some shorter pieces isn’t as difficult as it looks. It’s really quite easy. Then we positioned them into the 2 planters by the front porch area.
Top it off with some fresh cuttings & pinecones.
Reusing the same Black Metal Lanterns you might remember from our Halloween Decor Post, and our Fall Home Tour post, we are changing it up with some simple cuttings & small pinecones. So simply & yet so elegant.
Topped off with a burlap bow & a small pinecone.
We love those battery operated timer candles that go on and off each night automatically.
Day or night, the porch looks awesome. We sure hope this simple idea of using items found in your yard or local trails inspire you. We are so fortunate to have quite an abundance of of pinecones here in Northern California. If you don’t have them where you are, they are available in your local craft stores & online.
Great idea to bring these items inside to use in your home decor too. Did you see our Pinecone String Lights post?
