Easy Christmas Tree Decorating using a mixture old & new decorations…
A super easy & elegant touch that professional decorators use is wide mesh ribbon. Mesh ribbon is so easy to work!
We cut a section from the 21″ roll of mesh ribbon. Next, we fold the corners inside & pinch together so we get a little pouf. Mesh bends easily holds will hold its shape. Placed into tree so the pouf-side shows, repeat this to fill the tree with many mesh ribbon poufs will give your tree the most beautiful look that many decorators use.
Of course there are the ornaments. We use a collection of ornaments. Some have sentimental value, some are gifts received, ornaments the kids made while growing up, and even dollar store ornaments.
This year we decide to add a “JOY” to the top of our christmas tree. We are recycling from on older project we had- our Gold Glitter Joy Holiday Sign. These letters are available in many crafts stores & amazon. They are lightweight & inexpensive. Using a can of glitter spray paint the letters turn into beautiful Christmas Decor.
When the tree lights up, it looks magical! So much LOVE & JOY goes into this family room Christmas Tree. Come see the rest of our Christmas Home Tour & all our other Easy & FrugElegant Christmas and Hanukkah DIY Decor.
