This FABULOUS BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich Recipe is a summertime favorite- so why wait? Especially when GAME DAY is approaching!
Pork Rub Ingredients:
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 TBSP. each: brown sugar, chili powder, paprika
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt, cumin, dry mustard, thyme
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
Using a very lean pork tenderloin(can also use pork shoulder), rub with my favorite seasoning mixture. Sear in a pan & then place in crockpot.
Not to waste any seasonings in the pan, add about 1 1/2 cups water & 1 cup of BBQ sauce to deglaze the pan. Pour over the pork tenderloins in the crockpot, cover & cook 6 hours.
Remove pork, shred in a bowl with 2 forks, ladle some of the extra juices from the crockpot over the meat. Serve on a roll or use mini buns for a crowd, add your favorite BBQ sauce & cole slaw to top off your your sandwich.
