Another idea for making your own chalkboard is to use a picture frame. It can stand up or hang on a wall easily. I bought this frame at a discount store called Gator Bobs (a closeout warehouse in concord ca) for $2.95! If you don’t want the message to smudge & last longer, put the glass back in. Or keep glass out and write daily messages.
