This Baby Shower Cupcake Tower is so easy & versatile to create, it will be a beautiful part of your party decor. With a few simple changes this can be created for a birthday party, bridal shower, wedding or any special occasion.
In this post we are sharing with you our favorite cream cheese frosting recipe that we used on both, the mini cupcakes & sugar cookies. Our cupcakes are made from a simple boxed cake mix (any brand) & the sugar cookies are a package from our local supermarket bakery. When we are done, we have created the fastest & simplest, “frug-elegantly” decorated cupcake tower…
This cream cheese frosting is so outrageously delicious & easy to make. We start by mixing 1 -8oz package of cream cheese & 1/2 cup softened butter in our fav kitchen appliance, our KitchenAid mixer. After creamy & mixed well, we add 1 -16oz package powdered sugar & 1 -teaspoon vanilla. Mix well.
Easiest way to fill the frosting bag: Put the frosting tip in the bag corner. Put bag in cup with extra bag hanging over cup. Fill the frosting in a frosting bag (or any gallon size ziplock style bag). Lift the excess bag up & remove from cup. Twist the top of the frosting bag so when you start squeezing, the frosting comes out of the bottom only.
We make small circle that ends in the center. As you pull up it leaves a nice point. Sprinkle with decorative pink sugar & pink sugar pearls.
Simple spread some cream cheese frosting on sugar & topped with sliced strawberries, blackberries & mandarin orange.
We are using a clear plastic cupcake tower that we found on sale in our local supermarket last year during the holiday season. Love that it comes apart & is easy to put together. There are many inexpensive cupcake towers available in your local party stores. We found a few on amazon & eBay & many other online retailers.
The only decorative addition we added on our cupcake tower is the BABY Cubes we purchased at our local Dollar Tree. They have lots of baby shower decorations that can look great on the tower & tables. Another option can be any letter cubes.
And some pretty flowers from our garden in a glass jar we added Princess Ribbon
A chalkboard on a plate stand completes our dessert table.

What a yummy-looking (and certainly -tasting) baby shower buffet! It looks so professional, too, you wouldn’t say it was home-made (not that we can’t make pro catering food at home, but I rarely see such beauty from home kitchens).
Lovely!
